Ronie’s Dad is Minister for Onion. During his tenure, the price of onion has rocketed to Rs.60+. Ronie’s Mom is furious who has just returned from market as she could not get onions. She fired :-
My friends were saying that you allowed all Onions to be exported to Pakistan without looking country’s needs ?
It was necessary to earn foreign currency; last year we had bumper production so we had to do it.
But I cannot cook curry with Dollars
Don’t worry, we are bringing back those Onions from Pakistan and the consignment is expected within a fortnight.
At the same price ?
No it would be costlier than the rate at which we exported.
You mean at a loss ?
Hmmmm…yes but that’s not your business.
Ronie (suddenly intervening) : Dad, do you remember, price of POTATOES also shot up when you were Minister for Potatoes…….ho ho ho……hi hi hi…. ?
SHUT UP, SHUT UP
hmm...good to know that DAD have someone else also on his head than poor Ronnie....
ReplyDeleteWell....why poor Pakistan?

Thanks dear learned friends. There is a lesson we got to learn from Ronie and that is; "WE SHOULD ALSO QUESTION OUR RELATIVES WHO ARE IN POWERFUL POSTS FOR THEIR WRONG-DOINGS" and this's what Ronie is doing.
Though humourous it has a powerful message .
